Celebrating World Quality Week at Omega!

Last week, we highlighted the dedicated individuals across various departments, who drive positive quality changes and make a significant impact in their respective areas.

Handpicked by our management team, these outstanding employees consistently go above and beyond, making a tangible impact. In recognition of their dedication, each one has been presented with a £50 voucher as a token of our appreciation for their tireless efforts.

Our valued stakeholders recognise the significance of this initiative in reemphasizing the importance and benefits of a proactive approach to delivering manufacturing quality. We acknowledge that as a business, continuous improvement is imperative to not only meet but surpass our customers' needs and expectations, setting us apart from our competitors.

Andy Goodwin – Paint Shop Operative

A key member of our paint shop prepping team, Andy has been involved in standardisation of raw materials and paint processes to improve both the quality of the raw materials and the finish of painted products.

James Dacres – Transport
For delivering an excellent service to our customers including recent praise for his approachability and helpfulness when delivering to customers.

Paul Wilmot and Eric Sayles – Machine Operators
Paul and Eric have been heavily involved in our new brand creation (Novus) ensuring the units are fit for purpose once and have been instrumental in continuously improving and streamlining the drawings from technical as well as acting as a bridge between manufacturing and design.

Nichola Daley – Customer Service Administrator
Nic has become one of our Senior Quality Champions ensuring products delivered from suppliers are correct to specification. Nic is also a key member of our cross-functional improvement team where she ensures the voice of the customer has been listened to.

Marta Duczmal – Assembly Operator
Marta is a key member of our Tall unit production Cell in which she has consistently strived to improve both the quality of the raw materials and the finished units we are producing. Due to Marta's efforts, we have seen productivity from her area consistently increase month after month

Alongside this Omega’s Quality Manager, Dave Curtis has been delivering a series of presentations to the company highlighting Quality’s ethos and vision for 2024 and 2025.

Our Directors also joined our Manufacturing teams, working on tasks that drive positive quality changes in their areas. 

Quality is crucial in manufacturing and reflects our commitment to maintaining and improving product standards.
