26 Kitchen paint colours. Infinite possibilities.
Choosing the colour of your kitchen is one of the most personal decisions in any home project.
Here, we take you through every shade in the Omega paint collection and aid you in finding the one that's unmistakably you.
Colour is the first thing you feel in a room, even before you consciously notice it. Walk into a kitchen painted in deep Anthracite and you feel grounded, considered, bold. Step into one finished in Powder Blue and something immediately softens. The right colour doesn't just complement your home it changes how you feel in it, every single day.
At Omega, we've spent considerable time curating a palette of 26 carefully chosen paint colours, not just colours that are fashionable right now, but shades with depth, versatility and longevity. Each one is available across 17 painted door styles, from the timeless lines of our Shaker range to the clean minimalism of our handleless and modern slab doors.
This guide is designed to help you explore the full collection, understanding not just what each colour looks like, but what it does to a space, who it suits, and how to use it confidently in your own kitchen design.
The complete paint collection
Every colour in the Omega palette is organised into six families, making it easier to navigate by mood, tone, and design direction. Look through and find your starting point.
Whites & Off-Whites - clean, light, timeless
Greys - considered, sophisticated, versatile
Neutrals - earthy, warm, enduring
Greens - nature-inspired, grounding, on-trend
Blues - calm, confident, character-led whilst making a bold statement
Choosing by mood & feeling
The most useful way to approach the Omega palette isn't always by colour family. it's by the feeling you want your kitchen to evoke. Here are four of the most popular design directions our colours naturally fall into, and which shades to consider for each.
The art of the two-tone kitchen
One of the most powerful things about having 26 colours in a single palette is that they're all designed to work together. Two-tone kitchens, where wall cabinets and base units are finished in contrasting or complementary shades have become one of the most requested looks in kitchen design, and Omega's palette makes it easy to get right.
The principle is straightforward: anchor your lower cabinets in a deeper, grounding colour, and keep the uppers lighter to maintain a sense of space and openness. Some of the most successful pairings we see are Limestone with Botanical, Cashmere with Indigo Blue, and Pebble with Anthracite combination that works equally well in modern or traditional settings.
The Setosa painted slab door was practically made for this treatment, its clean, unfussy surface lets the colour do all the talking, and the smooth finish means the transition between shades reads as intentional rather than accidental. Similarly, the Savoy painted shaker with its recessed handle detail looks exceptional when the island is pulled out in a statement dark like Graphite against a body of Limestone or Dune paint colour.
"The right combination of two Omega colours can make a kitchen feel larger, more layered, and entirely personal without a single extra accessory." Ben Jones - Creative Lead Design Manager

Pairing guide - Classic combinations
Tried & tested colour pairings
- Limestone & Botanical - A natural favourite. The warm stone of Limestone grounds the kitchen while Botanical on the island or base units brings the outdoors in. Works beautifully with brass hardware and a Dekton worktop.
- Cashmere & Indigo Blue - Sophisticated and timeless. Cashmere wall units keep the space bright; Indigo Blue below adds depth and a touch of the unexpected. Pairs well with polished nickel handles.
- Pebble & Anthracite - The modern classic two-tone. Warm greige above, deep charcoal below. Works in virtually any layout and never dates. Particularly strong in open-plan kitchen-diners.
- Arctic White & Spitfire Blue - Fresh, coastal, characterful. White wall cabinets keep things crisp while Spitfire Blue on the lower cabinets or island adds a confident pop of personality without overwhelming the room.
- Dune & Sage Grey - A tonal, tone-on-tone approach for those who want texture over contrast. Both colours share the same warm undertone, creating a layered, relaxed feel. Ideal for larger kitchen spaces.
- Sea Mist & White - Gentle, airy and increasingly popular. Sea Mist brings just enough colour to feel considered without commitment. Works perfectly in smaller kitchens or north-facing spaces where darker choices can feel heavy.
Colour meets door style
One of the distinct advantages of Omega's painted range is the breadth of door styles available across the full colour palette. All 26 colours are available across 17 different door styles meaning your colour choice and your design direction never have to compromise each other.
Whether you're drawn to the handcrafted quality of the Wood Painted Shaker with its solid wood five-piece construction, the understated elegance of the Sovereign narrow shaker frame, or the clean smoothness of Setosa handleless, every colour in the collection translates beautifully across each door profile.
Some colour-door combinations are particularly worth exploring. Botanical on the Manor House grained shaker door with its subtle beaded detail creates a kitchen with a genuine sense of heritage and warmth. Cobalt on the Oblique chamfered slab brings a graphic boldness that feels more design studio than domestic. And Sienna on the In Frame door (a pairing that's almost poetically fitting) delivers a quietly sophisticated result that finishes it off beautifully.
Making confident colour decisions
Choosing a kitchen colour is a longer-term commitment than choosing paint for a bedroom wall which is a good thing. It means the decision deserves proper consideration, and the Omega palette has been designed with that permanence in mind. These are colours chosen for longevity, not just for the moment. All our Retail Partners carry painted colour cards to ensure that you can mix and match before any decisions are made.
A few things worth knowing as you narrow down your choice. Natural light is everything: a colour that looks perfectly balanced in a south-facing showroom can read very differently in a north-facing kitchen. The Kitchen Visualiser on the Omega website is genuinely useful here. It lets you see how different colours and door styles interact before you commit. If you can, visit an Omega retailer showroom to see physical door samples in a real space under real light.
Don't underestimate the role of the worktop and hardware in how a paint colour reads. Limestone, for example, shifts significantly depending on whether it sits alongside a pale Dekton, a dark Granite, or a warm timber surface. Similarly, a brushed brass handle will warm a cool grey; a matte black handle will make the same grey feel more graphic and contemporary.
5 things to consider before choosing your kitchen colour
- Assess your natural light first. North-facing kitchens benefit from warmer tones (Cashmere, Limestone, Dune) to avoid feeling cold and grey. South-facing kitchens can handle darker, cooler shades without losing vibrancy.
- Consider the whole room, not just the doors. Wall colour, flooring, ceiling height, and the amount of window glazing all effect how a kitchen colour reads. Use the Omega visualiser to find the colours that suit and bring samples home before deciding.
- Think about how the colour will age with you. Trend-led choices can be wonderful, but the colours in the Omega palette are curated with longevity in mind. Ask yourself: will I still love this in 10 years?
- Use the two-tone approach to manage boldness. If you love Botanical or Cobalt but worry about committing fully, introduce it on lower cabinets or an island only, with a neutral upper. You get the character without the risk.
- Book time in a showroom. Omega's retail partners carry physical door samples and, full selection of paint swatches and in many cases, full kitchen displays in multiple colourways. There is simply no substitute for seeing the colour in three dimensions, with light falling across the surface.
The Omega paint collection is the result of continual adjustment, colours revised, retired, and added based on what we see working in real homes across the UK. The 26 shades that remain in the current palette are there because they earn their place: beautiful in isolation, versatile in combination, and finished to a standard that stands up to the demands of a working kitchen.
Whatever colour calls to you, whether it's the quiet confidence of Pebble, the character of Botanical, or the graphic boldness of Anthracite there is an Omega kitchen waiting to bring it to life.
